Lucifer, the Demon Lord of Hell, is the twin brother to the angel Michael. When he was exalted to the position of Morning Star, he was told by God that he was bor with only one reason—to become the Prince of Darkness and rule the evils and demons. Angered by the revelation, he decided to rape Alexiel in order to enrage God because it was believed that Alexiel was God's "beloved daughted." But then it turned out that God only used Alexiel so he could follow through his plan and Lucifer had no way of knowing this.

Lucifer fell in love with Alexiel when he found out that she was not the cold emotionless woman everyone believed her to be, but a woman who loved everything that encompassed anything Lucifer had seen. He then leaves Eden after kissing her and continues to stage a rebellion against God.

When he and his comrades fell, they found that hell was a barren landscape incapable of sustaining life. In order to make it habitable, Lucifer merged with in by rooting his body to Hell's ground. He later returns to Eden to free Alexiel from her God-made prison and assisted Alexiel to stage the second rebellion.

As a punishment to Lucifer, God extracts his soul and imprisons it in a seven-bladed sword called the Nanatsusaya Mitamanatsurugi which then causes to lose all of his memories.
